About the Artwork
I shoot all of my work on Fuji Velvia 50, Fuji Velvia 100 or Fuji Provia 100F (slide film) in either 4x10, 4x5 (large format), 6x12, 6x7 (medium format) or 35mm. After developing and editing, I select images to scan and print using a Durst Lambda Photo Processor. This process utilizes lasers to expose archival photo paper. The final product is a true photograph, not an inkjet print. Next, I mount the prints on acid free foam core or gatorboard using an archival quality drymount and apply an acid free mat. Finally, I frame the work using wood frames and reflection control, conservation glass. At each step in the process I try to make decisions to preserve the beauty of the original image. I hope that you will enjoy the work as much as I do.
